This WORX battery mower is a great quality mower and is built well It is a good weight, and
      it started easily.
The negative was it did not cut grass or dandelions short enough, even on the lowest settings and going over the lawn several times.
We are hopeful to find a mower that has all positive features for us. My husband said that WORX has a good reputation, with high quality products.
      Thank you,
      Nancy and Dan H

I now have the need to mow my yard after a winter. I purchased this mower last year. I have had the mower around 7 months of which 4 months it sat in my garage due to the winter. I took the mower out for the first time this year. The batteries seem to be low even though I had them plugged in and recharging. I told myself the machine is still in hibernation. I took it out the next day after having the batteries recharging again. The batteries didnt last and the horsepower was missing as the mower could not cut through the grass. Before you say the grass was too tall. Nope, the grass had been cut once and this was the second time through the yard. This machine is not worth the money.
The question I have, how do I return this mower?

I had owned another brand electric mower from 2015 to 2020, but it used the lead-acid battery and once it died, I bought an old, refurbished French-Canadian Poulan gas mower as a quick replacement. It works great, except it is hard to push because the rear wheel motor is dead, so it is like pushing a tank.

The main reason that I bought this new Worx mower is because of my tinnitus. Because of an ear infection in 2019, it’s been a problem, but as of last summer, it is nearly cured so I am trying to keep it at a manageable level, but loud noises can make it erupt. This Poulan mower is loud, so even if I wear ear plugs and ear protection at the same time, sometimes my tinnitus will erupt after mowing for 60 to 90 minutes.

Last weekend I mowed my lawn for the time this season 2023 using my Poulan gas mower and my tinnitus roared for two days, so I decided I had to buy another electric mower again. I choose Worx because I have been a customer of them since 2008 when I bought their blower and weed trimmer with the old lead acid batteries. In the summer of 2021, after the old lead acid batteries died, I bought a new blower and weed trimmer with the new 20V lithium batteries.

Now back to my new Worx mower. I have a very large, corner yard that I mow; back yard, sides, and the front. The new mower was easy to get set up and the batteries charged quickly.

Pic #1: My backyard after using the new Worx mower, looks great and I have the mower on setting #1 which is closest to the ground.
Pic #2: I mowed the back yard and the battery showed one blank dots, which is good.
Pic #3: I mowed the rear-side yard and the batteries are still active.
Pic #4: I mowed the sides next to my street, and the batteries are still active.
Pic #5: I mowed the sides in front of my house, next to the street,
Pic #6: The batteries are still active, but with only two lights showing.
Pic #7: The mower picks up leaves, sticks, etc. Very effective mower.
Pic #8: Once the new batteries died, I had to still mow the front yard and side yard next to my house, so I got out the 20V batteries that I got when I bought my blower / weed trimmer in 2021.
Pic #9: The older 20V batteries mowed the front yard.
Pic #10: The older 20V batteries mowed the side yard.
      Pic #11: Far view.
Pic #12: Three bags of leaves, sticks, grass.
      Pic #13: Mower is clean.
Pic #14: The Worx will replace the old Poulan.

After today’s yardwork, my tinnitus is not roaring after having worked in my yard for nearly three hours this afternoon. This was the number reason that I bought the new Worx mower and I was hoping it was going to be this way. I was able to finish the mowing job with the two 20V batteries that I bought in 2021. This is one of the most effective designs that any company has produced; same battery that can be used in all of their products. This is why I am sticking with Worx.

Lastly, this mower worked perfectly and I am glad that I bought this model. You can see from the pictures how nice my lawn looks.

There is nothing that I dislike about this mower.

18 June Update: My mower is still working great!

I didn’t like the maintenance with our gas mower so we switched to electric and purchased the WORX Nitro WG751.3 40V Power Share 20” Push Lawn Mower. We have owned the mower since March this year and have used it several times (8 plus times). Assembly was easy, if you can even call it assembly. This comes put together in the delivery box. The mower is very lightweight. There is no drive so having a lightweight mower like this one is nice. I have a relatively large front yard (bermuda) and a smaller backyard (fescue). The mower does not last the entire yard on 2 20v batteries, we have to switch the batteries roughly 3/4 of the way through the entire yard. All in all it takes me roughly 1.5 hours to cut and bag the front and backyard. I have to switch batteries after roughly an hour. I try to cut every 2 weeks but recently we had to postpone that schedule. The grass was a bit longer in the front and we likely took off between 1-1.5 inches. The battery did not last a full hour but instead lasted about 45 minutes.

We purchase another charging station and 2 additional 20v batteries so we can swap easily and keep going. If you have a larger yard or cut infrequently, I would recommend this.

I also have the WORX WG186 40V Nitro Power Share Cordless Attachment-Capable Driveshare 15″ String Trimmer and love how the batteries are interchangeable.

Put away is awesome with this mower. It folds up very easily.

I have cut without bagging and the discharge works as expected. I think this mower does have a great cut.

Very pleased and would recommend to anyone looking to ditch their gas mower.

I loved the ease of assembly. It was out of the box and ready to use in minutes. The battery life is outstanding, plus I could use my lower Ah rated Worx batteries if needed. This mower comes with two 5Ah batteries with a quick charger and they lasted my entire 40 minute mowing time. (Worx batteries can be left on the charger without damage to the battery life.) We have average sized city front and back yards with about 7,550 square feet +/- 10. I only used one bar out of 5 for the whole job. The mower weighs about half as much as my gas powered one, so there is much less fatigue involved–not to mention sweat. No gas or exhaust odors and it is much quieter. The grass discharge is on the rear (blows to the left) so there is no issue with a discharge chute getting in the way on one side like on my gas mower. The grass comes out finely cut and did not clump at all, even though we have had continuous rain for weeks prior. My only complaint is that I usually like to scalp my lawn to about 3/4 of an inch high. The lowest setting for this mower is 1.5 inches. For all the perks, I can get used to this. (I had an issue with the delivery–not Amazon–UPS; however, Amazon made everything right and once again came through with excellent customer service.) I’d recommend this mower, I have never been burned by Worx. Their customer service is excellent as well. Plus there is a five year limited warranty.

This mower as a first impression looks great… It comes with Bigger Batteries than it’s smaller counterpart, but that is to be expected. Assembly was easy and straightforward… I do not see where you need directions to put this unit together… It comes with a Bigger/stronger charger than it’s smaller counterpart and so far looks good… Next week, once I actually get to mow my lawn (Just mowed yesterday) I plan to follow up. So far I am satisfied with this unit and look forward to updating this review!

Light, maneuverable, and powerful. Easy to clean and maintain. Batteries are more than enough for an average, in town, residential yard. Handles thick or damp grass as well as a gas powered in my opinion. Wife liked it so much, we ordered a trimmer, blower, pole saw, and pruner.

I had this for about 2 months now and used it four times, today is August 26, 2023. The first thing is the battery life is horrible but as my lawn is small, I can usually cut it all with just the two 4 Ah batteries that came with the lawn mower. Recharging the batteries normal take 1-2 hours. The light weight allows me to control the mower while cutting so not having a power-driven wheel is not a problem. There is a plastic item inside the mower that I needed to remove to get it to collect the grass into the rear bag. Also need to remember this is for light cutting so if the grass is wet or tall start with a higher wheel height then lower it if necessary. All in all, this product works for my needs, which is simple grass cutting of a small lawn.

      Worx WG752 👍👍👍

(This is the new 21” push model with dual 5.0 AH batteries, to be clear). I bought it because I own several other Worx tools and am hooked on the idea of interchangeable batteries (and really like my other Worx tools). This new model sounded like it had been tweaked based on feedback regarding the previous one so I bought it.

I’ve had it a few weeks now and mowed the lawn twice. It’s a cool looking, quiet and efficient, mower. The handle adjustments are real easy and being able to store the mower upright is an unexpected bonus. The mower cuts nicely and in heavy grass the motor kicks it up a notch to get through it (kinda badass!). I mulch my grass so haven’t tried the bag or side chute.

Height adjustment is quick and easy, too. I use the lowest cutting height and it is perfect for me, but it might not be short enough for some.

The wheels are big and the mower is relatively light and easy to handle (compared to a gas mower) so glad I didn’t pay extra for a self propelled one.

I have a 1/4 acre lot and am able to mow it on a single charge (if grass isn’t long, could probably mow it twice).

This new mower replaces a first generation Black & Decker cordless mower that served me well for many years. I would still be using that if replacenent blades were still available and that leads me to my final observation. So far, Worx doesn’t sell a replacement blade for this new mower. I will gladly buy one when available to have a sharpened spare on hand.

Finally made the switch to battery for the lawn mower. Off the grass is short, it works fine. If the grass has grown to a higher length, this thing will stop every few steps had it tried to cut the grass. This will degrade your battery quickly leading to a recharge need before you finish cutting. It’s annoying. Even though I like Worx for all my other products, it was not worth it for this mower. Also the wheels are cheap and I work that will crack if it hits a curb or the side of the house as it brushes up against while mowing. It’s is pretty light and has a simple construction and height changing mechanism.
