      I have used Milwaukee tools for years. I finally decided to upgrade my tired 1/2″ impact to the newer model. Recently bought both 1/2″ & 3/8″ Mid Torque impacts and this new High Torque impact has that newer style. Love the LEDs and shorter length and even more power than the older models. I do have Forge XC6.0 Battery which does give a lil extra kick vs older batteries. I even bought an older Rubber Boot from the previous model and just made two small vent cuts and front cut around leds. Works great and saved money vs Milwaukee OEM boot is over $80!!! As an oil field mechanic I get the full use and then some out of my tools. Milwaukee doesn’t let me down. Plenty of friends have Snap-on, Mac and Matco and none of them justify the high prices and lack of dependability they come with.

      Best on the market. Suggest you up grade to more powerful battery pack. But even with the basic battery pack it is a monster with stud snapping power. Go easy

      I could not loosen the bolts on the blades of my tractor. This did it as soon as I hit the trigger recommended very much worth the money.

      We run 10 hour shifts and this gun is used about 5 hours per day. It gets above normal abuse as they don’t own it and you always take better care of something you spent your own money acquiring. We normally pair it with a 6.0 battery so it isn’t so heavy that its hard to operate.
      We have 3 of these at this plant and they all work great. In the last year, we have only had to replace one and that was due to damage from a lift.

      This impact is big, heavy, and powerfully. Takes lug nuts off with no problem and also took off my yoke nut with ease also.
